At Grupa RB we focus on education and building awareness of architecture in the community.

On the occasion of Children’s Day and the upcoming celebration of World Architecture Day, we opened the doors of our studio and invited students from ATUT Bilingual Elementary School of the Foundation for International Education to an architecture workshop. The purpose of our activities is to start a social discussion and create awareness about the important role of architecture in our lives and how responsible and necessary the work of an architect is.
“Architecture is not only about art and aesthetics, but first and foremost about stewardship and responsibility for creating spaces that will serve society for many years to come. As architects, we shape the environment, taking care of quality of life, safety and sustainability. The future of cities and the environment depends largely on how we design and build. Therefore, the public’s awareness of the role architects play in the whole process is extremely important.” – says Mateusz Biernacki, Architect | Designer with Grupa RB.
The architectural workshop organized in cooperation with Bricks 4 Kidz resulted in the creation of a LEGO building model of our headquarters building – the Szkocka Point office building, which we were responsible for designing.
Design work is a combination of many skills and technical knowledge, legal knowledge, creativity and interdisciplinary approach. During the workshop we introduced these aspects, while emphasizing the wide range of skills and responsibilities that the architectural profession entails.
