A series of comprehensive training sessions to hone our skills for optimal design in #ArchiCAD, conducted for us by experienced BIM Managers from Multibim (a company that implements BIM software in design and architecture studios and ArchiCAD reseller), and our 15th anniversary gave rise to a conversation about history and the role of technology in the industry.
“When our design office started, we designed in 2D technology, using #AutoCAD. At that time, 3D designs were only about visualization, depicting, for example, photorealistic interiors.” – comments Rafal Brok, founder of RB Group.
Over time, the approach to design has changed significantly. Despite the initial controversy that BIM, as a new technology, aroused in investors and subcontractors, our activities allowed us to:
– optimize our designs,
– streamline all processes, i.e. information management, presentation of design ideas, cooperation and interprofessional communication.
