Police Station in Gdansk

We know how important is the functionality of the facilities we design. This is especially important when implementing projects for state institutions. An excellent example of this is the Police Station in Gdansk.

Projekt budynku użyteczności publicznej - Komisariat Policji w Gdańsku - autorstwa Grupa RB.

When designing the police station, we focused primarily on its functionality and representative character, which we emphasized with the simple form of the building.

The net area of the building totals about 1263.7 sqm, and the built-up area is 543.7 sqm.
The project consists of:
– a 3-story L-shaped administrative building, with a partially sunken underground floor, distinguished by color and materials,
– a garage building,
– a landscaped area containing parking lots, internal roads, pedestrian routes and small architecture,
– technical infrastructure.

RB Group develops projects based on the standards of investors. However, we always try to find individual solutions that respond to the needs of facility users, including those with specific, specialized guidelines.

In the building of the police station, functional zones have been separated, divided according to the types of activity of the employees and interested parties:

– public zone – the entrance zone, consisting of a vestibule, a waiting room with a reception desk, a room for the reception of interested parties, and a public toilet adapted for the disabled,

– restricted access zone – zone of office premises, also hygiene and sanitary rooms

– restricted zone.
