World Architecture Day. Profession: architect – challenges and responsibilities

On July 1, we celebrated World Architecture Day. This holiday was an excellent opportunity to introduce the topic of the architectural profession and the challenges that this profession brings.

Design work is a constant balancing act between different disciplines. It requires a combination of many skills: specialized technical knowledge, precise knowledge of regulations, interdisciplinary approach, creativity, ability to create innovative and functional solutions. Architects must not only be artists, but also engineers, managers and team leaders. Their work, effort and responsibility for the entire process affects people’s daily lives, shaping the space we live in.

At RB Group, we focus on creating awareness of architecture in society. We want to educate and raise awareness of how important and necessary this field is, and how it affects our lives. It is important for us to socially engage in discussions about the difficulties and responsibilities that this profession entails. Through such activities, we can better understand the challenges that architects face on a daily basis and appreciate their contribution to shaping our environment.

During architectural workshops organized on the occasion of Children’s Day, we asked the youngest children who they think an architect is. Their answers are surprising, honest and true. Below are some of them. ✏
